Barbara "Jan'et" Allsup (Harrison)
Barbara “Jan’et” Allsup of Granbury died peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was 82.

Jan’et was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family, her friends, and her Lord with a passionate servant's heart. Jan’et is survived by her sons, Robert Allen Allsup and his wife Joanne of Irving, David Eugene Allsup of Austin, and James Michael Allsup and his wife Bonnie of Granbury, her brother, Pat Harrison and his wife Lanie of Weatherford, sister-in-law, Carolyn Kuhrt of Nacogdoches, as well as three nieces, nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She will be missed fondly by her childhood friend of 71 years, Loretta Carroll and her husband Eugene of Fort Worth as well as the surviving members of the Tech Girls club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene “Dick” Allsup and her sons, Gary Lee Allsup and William Mark Allsup.

Jan’et was born on April 12, 1935 in Breckenridge, TX, to parents Cliff and Ida Harrison. She graduated from Fort Worth Technical School in 1953. Over their 46 years of marriage until Dick’s death in 2002, the couple was blessed with a wonderful family, numerous business associates, and lifelong friends.
