Interment will follow at a later date in Marion, NY.
Mr. Godfrey passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010 in Fort Worth. He was born March 27, 1952 in Newark, NY to Ray Eldon and June Proseus Godfrey. He was an army veteran, a member of the American Legion and worked for Rentway and Colortime in Cleburne for many years.
Ray Godfrey is survived by his siblings Eldon Ray Godfrey and wife, Vicky of Collinsville and Jessie Schmidt and husband, Brad of Marion, NY; nephew, Bradley Schmidt; niece, April Schmidt and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the Cleburne American Legion Post #50 in his name.
