Jackie Glover, 93, of Blum received her wings on Sunday, July 14, 2019, in Whitney, TX. Memorial services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, July 19, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Brad Slaten will officiate. Burial will follow in the Blum Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00P.M. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the funeral home.

Jackie was born December 28, 1925 in Marion County, Arkansas to E.P. and Mamie (Simmons) Coody. Jackie married Joe Crowell Glover on January 29, 1944 in Whitney. Married 45 wonderful years, he preceded her in death on February 1, 1993. Jackie is also preceded in death by her parents.
Jackie was a lifelong resident of Blum, TX. She graduated from Blum High School, Class of ’42, then attended Business College in Ft. Worth. She was a bookkeeper for Gibson Lumberyard, 20 years, and First State Bank of Rio Vista, 25 years. She loved the community of Blum. Lifelong passions include: Blum United Methodist Church and the Lord’s Acre, Blum School, Blum Community Cemetery and Blum Community Center.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Nash of Blum, Martha S. Smith of Blum; son Charles P. Glover of Blum; grandchildren, Karen O’Dell and husband Jeff, Michael Pruitt and wife Jan, Patti Jo McMahon, Patrick Morris and wife Jodi, Misti Bullard and husband Chris, Joe Cassidy Glover, Andrea Harper and husband Robert; 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. We are blessed to have had five living generations.
