A. Capps

Mr. Capps was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Marietta to W.B. and Julia Ann Barnes Capps. He married Alice Meleen on Sept. 23, 1950, in Dallas.
Mr. Capps was the founder of Dallas-based Capps Van and Car Rental and former owner of Brandom Industries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Capps was a generous loving father and husband and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors: His wife, Alice M. Capps of Keene; son, David Capps and wife, Sandra, of Coppell; daughters, Irene VanCleave and husband, Gwyn, of California, Sammie Hooten and husband, Phil, of Burleson and Julie Smith and husband, Chuck, of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Capps and wife, Peggy, of Conroe; sister, Rosie Bodie of Omaha; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
