Ada Crecelius

Ada Ruth (Tuley) Crecelius, 71, of Rio Vista, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 9, 2011 in Ft. Worth. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00A.M., Saturday, Mar. 12, 2011 in the Rio Vista Church of Christ. Interment will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Ada married the love of her life, Dennis Crecelius on Sept. 11, 1954 in Durant, Okla. She was born August 4, 1939 in Cotton Valley, Tex. to Ewell and Irene Tuley. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Granbury Street Church of Christ. She worked at the ABC Day Care in De Soto while Dennis went to preaching school. Mrs. Crecelius retired from the Rio Vista Food Center after 11 and one half years. She loved to hunt, fish and go to the gun range with Dennis.
Mrs. Crecelius is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dennis Crecelius; two daughters, Barbara Wood and husband Mark and Kathlene Bailey and husband Danny; son, Dennis Crecelius and wife Kathleen; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Frances Creamer and husband Tommy, Glenda Johnson and husband Troy, Carolyn Smith and husband Mike, Betty Ashlock and husband Dub and Nora Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Billy, James and Johnny Tuley.
