Graveside services for Ada Lucille Pendley, 95 of Whitney, formerly of Cleburne will be conducted at 1 p.m. Nov. 1, 2013, in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Chaplain Fred Parker will officiate.
Mrs. Pendley passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Whitney. She was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Whitney to Wesley Howard and Jewel Eudera Longinio Perry. She married Thomas V. Pendley in 1933 in Cleburne, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Mrs. Pendley is survived by her daughter, Sherry Bradley and husband, Van, of Whitney; six grandchildren, Deborah Marie (Hamilton) Pendley of North Carolina, Mark Steven Pendley of Cleburne, Laura Lynn Condon of Granbury, Tammie Renee Anguiano of Kerrville, Amy Michelle Fritts of North Richland Hills and Melissa Diane Pendley of Michigan; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Travis Perry and Loree Eaton; and three sons, Thomas "Tommy" Ray Pendley, Carlton "Gene" Eugene Pendley and Jerry Van Pendley.
