Adam Anderson

Adam Kyle “Bubba” Anderson our precious son, father, brother, and uncle took his last breath on earth and his first breath in heaven on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah following a stroke. His mother and sister were holding his hands.

Bubba was born April 12, 1979 to Causen “Andy” and Kathy (Elmore) Anderson in Cleburne, Texas, where he attended Santa Fe Kindergarten and Coleman Elementary. At the age of 8 he moved with his family to Ogden, Utah. He attended Horace Mann Elementary, Mound Fort Middle School and St. Joseph High School. In 1995, at the age of 16 the family moved to Cross Plains, TX. where he graduated from Cross Plains High School.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corp his junior year of high school and upon graduation in 1997, received his basic training at the Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif. Adam was stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina as a combat correspondent. He was editor of the base newspaper, The Beaufort Bugle, and was honorably discharged in 2004. At this time Adam moved to Ft. Worth, TX. He worked at Lockheed Martin and Millers Brewing Company. After several years in Fort Worth he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend The Art Institute of Salt Lake City.

On August 15, 2014 Adam became a father. Thoughts of his sweet Paislie Sue brought more joy to his life than anything ever had.

Adam loved writing, art and music. He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed singing, writing songs, drawing, making people laugh and helping others. He was a friend to all. If you never knew Adam, you missed out. If you knew him you were blessed. He was a unique and special person.

Adam is survived by his daughter, Paislie Sue of Ogden, Utah, his parents, Causen “Andy” and Kathy (Elmore) Anderson of Cross Plains, Texas. Three sisters: Amanda Shafer, and husband Scott of Azle, Texas, Dusty Hancock, and husband Quincy of Dublin, Texas, and Daley Prasad, and husband Vijay of Arlington, Texas.

Eight nieces and nephews: Savannah, Causen, and Kylenn Shafer, Caylon, Grayer, Lawton and Jovie Hancock, and Elodie Prasad.

Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He will be greatly missed. The hole in our hearts can never be filled.
