Service for Addie Imogene Cox, 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at The Refuge, 3219 N. Main St. in Cleburne. Brad Cox and Pastor Gene Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mat Cox, David Cox, Aaron Cox, Jim Cox, Patrick Brimer and Juan Morales. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Addie Imogene Cox passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born May 27, 1929 in the Ovalo Community of Taylor County, Texas to Green Washington and Vivian Day Bradshaw. She married Tensley Eli Cox, Jr. on May 16, 1948 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother; sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. She was a charter member of The Refuge.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 68 years, Tensley Eli Cox, Jr. of Cleburne; children, Kathy Madeja and husband Bob of Ft. Worth, Danny Cox and wife Darlene of Burleson and Brad Cox and wife Judy of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter; one grandson; six brothers; and two sisters.
