Service for Adolph J. Prescher, 92, of Hillsboro, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Jonathan Baze will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Baze, Benjamin Baze, Hunter Blackburn, Zacary Blackburn, James Blackburn and Thomas Soliday. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday.
Adolph J. Prescher passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 in Hillsboro. He was born March 5, 1925 in Johnson County to Julius William and Willie Pearl Carlock Prescher.
Mr. Prescher worked in the car department for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring with 42 years of service. He was a member of the Chapel of Faith in Granbury.
Survivors include his daughters, Patsy Roberts and husband Larry of Hillsboro, Janie Thomas and husband Lonnie of Whitney, and Jimmie Elaine Raze and husband James of Cleburne; sons, Gary Prescher and wife Tamera of Winnsboro and William Prescher of Pickton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three spouses, Alita Boyd Prescher in 1976, Barbara Winn Prescher in 1990 and Ruby Dean Prescher in 2017; three brothers, two sisters, three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
