Service for Albert Raifsnider, 87, of Godley will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Albert Raifsnider passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 in Godley. He was born May 19, 1928 in Acton to Rush and Allie Tribble Raifsnider. He married Betty Turner on Feb. 19, 1954 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on June 21, 2011.
Mr. Raifsnider served in the United States Army. He was a farmer who loved life and farming. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Godley.
Survivors include his sons, Ben Raifsnider of Keene, Rusty Raifsnider, and Andy Raifsnider and wife Shelly, all of Godley; daughters, Wendy Raifsnider of Cleburne, Sherry Eldridge and husband Carney of Godley, Paula Osborn and husband Gary of Haltom City, Sally Smith and husband Terry of Kopperl, and Mary Raifsnider of Cleburne; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Mary Poole of Cleburne, Dorothy Rogers of Arkansas, Lula Mae Prickell of Arkansas, and Virginia Brown of Whitney; brother, F. M. Raifsnider of Whitney; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
