Mrs. Asher passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 in Glen Rose. She was born November 5, 1927, in Somervell County, Texas to Grady and Myrtle Mullins Hamill.
Mrs. Asher was a retired accounting clerk in the banking industry.
Aleta Margaret Thelma Asher is survived by daughters, Cindy Chambers (John), of Godley and Kathy Fragale (Chris White), of Fort Worth; son, Billy Knowles (Kathy), of Fort Worth; sister, Lana Hennen (Bill), of Jefferson; grandchildren, Misty, Amy, Kelly and Shelly and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandchild, Andrew.
