Mr. Johnson passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in Keene. He was born October 13, 1916 in Wetaskwin, Alberta, Canada to Gothard and Annie Petersen Johnson. He married Barbara Malson on August 1, 1965 in New York, NY.
Mr. Johnson was a business administrator with the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a missionary for the Seventh Day Adventist church in Boliva and Peru, South America and he also was a missionary in India.
Alf G. Johnson is survived by his wife, Barbara Johnson of Keene; one daughter, Vernita Milton and husband Robert of Kona, Hawaii; one son, Donald A. Johnson and wife Numiko of Travelers Rest, S.C.; three sisters, Lily Comm of Spokan, WA, Sylvia Edstrom of Kelowna, B.C.,Canada and Lilac Nilson; three grandchildren, Heather Brautigan and husband Charles, Lisa McConnell and husband Whitmar and Pierre Lee Johnson; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Lee Johnson and by 8 brothers and sisters.
