Service for Alfred “Uncle Al” James Andregg, 86, of Covington will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 18, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. Dr. Paul Pinyon will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Alfred “Uncle Al” James Andregg passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born Nov. 20, 1929 in Reno, NV. He married Marian Elizabeth Powers and she preceded him in death in 1998.
Mr. Andregg served in the United States Navy and worked as a construction pipeliner until retiring. He was a loving father, grandfather; great grandfather, uncle and a mentor to all. Uncle Al was a member of Rio Vista Baptist Church.
Survivors include his grandson, Timothy Stephens of Cleburne; granddaughter, Amy Stephens of Ahwahnee, CA; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son and one daughter.
