Alfreda Pride

Services for Alfreda Mae Pride, 70, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church, Rio Vista. Pastor Greg Henneman will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery.

Alfreda Mae Pride passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Rio Vista. She was born January 13, 1938 in Johnson County, Kansas to Harold and Bertha Middleton Sawyer. She married Leo Thomas Pride on April 20, 1961 in Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1987.

Mrs. Pride served in the U.S. Navy and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rio Vista.

Alfreda Mae Pride is survived by her daughter, Leslie Pride of Dallas; brother, Kenneth Sawyer of Ottawa, Kansas and grandson, Evan Franklin of Dallas.
