Services for Alice Faye Brooks, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Pastor David Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Turner, Roy Cook, Derick Dockins, John Odeal, William Colombus and Johnathan Baldwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dexter Baldwin, Trey Lewis, Trask Baldwin, Rev. Kirklin Cross,Sr., Kirklin Cross, Jr. and Charlie Wooldridge.

Alice Brooks passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born August 8, 1940 in Liberty, Texas, to Gill and Novella Atkins Baldwin, Sr. She married Morris Brooks on March 17, 1978 in Liberty, Texas.

Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker and was a member of the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cleburne.

Alice Faye Brooks is survived by her husband, Morris Brooks of Cleburne; two sons, Morris Brooks, Jr. and wife Lotia of Liberty, TX and Cornelius Baldwin and wife Anetra of Cleburne; three brothers, Pastor David Baldwin,Sr. and wife Willie of Cleburne, Cornelius Baldwin, Sr. and wife Samantha of Cleburne and Louis Baldwin, Sr. and wife Robin of Anahuac, TX; two sisters, Sadie Mae Balwin of Cleburne and Darryl Bush of Dayton, TX; 7 grandchildren, Morris Brooks III, McKenzie Brooks, A.J. Dougat, T. Michael Dougat, KeOnna Baldwin, KeOshia Baldwin and Trynatee Baldwin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
