Alice Sanders

Graveside service for Alice Marie Hart Sanders, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10: 00 A.M., Saturday, June 20, 2020 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, June 19, 2020 at the funeral home.

Alice Marie Hart Sanders died Saturday June 13, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born to Jewel Halbert Hart and George “Sweetie” Hart on December 17, 1931 in Cleburne, Johnson County.

Alice was a sweet loving, kind, daughter, wife, mother and sister. She would help anyone that she could.

Alice married Vernon “Peanut” Sanders December 27, 1951 in El Paso. He preceded her in death November 2005.

Alice was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and Savior.

She retired from Rangeair in 1997.

She is survived by son, Earle Douglas Sanders; brother, Jesse Heart and wife Donna; sister, Betty Garcia; nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She is also survived by a special great-great nephew, Ismael Solis and her fur babies, Dixie and Coco.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Ella Mae Vedder.
