Alice Schuman

Services for Alice Martha Schuman, 80, of Covington, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 28, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Darrell Phillips will officiate. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Pottsville, Texas, near Hamilton. Pallbearers will be Kevin Schuman, Kerry Schuman, Terry Schuman, Jerry Wayne Chandler, Kyle Hoffman, Jackson Paul Schuman and Chris Schuman. Mrs. Schuman passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 31, 1926 in Hamilton County, TX. to Adolph G. and Hilda Stegemoller Reinert. She married Paul F. Schuman in 1944 in Mills County, TX. Mrs. Schuman was a retired custodian for the Joshua ISD and a member of First United Methodist Church of Covington. Alice Martha Schuman is survived by her three sons, Paul Ray Schuman and wife Nancy of Covington, Ronald Wayne Schuman and wife Jerie of Joshua and Brian Allan Schuman and wife Barbara of Joshua; two daughters, Lana Kay Chandler and husband Jerry of Afton, Oklahoma and Paula Gayle English and husband Mike of Burleson; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Faye Stewart in 1991; one brother, Norman Reinert; and two sisters, Estha Lund and Nora Wendland.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
