Alice Worlow

Services for Alice Hudson Worlow, 97, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Ricky D. Treece and Rev. Kenny Worlow will officiate. Burial will be in Brazos Point Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jeff Phillips, Rocky Phillips, Keith Worlow, Dennis Worlow, Darren Worlow, Terry Worlow and Jimmy Worlow. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons-in-law, Michael Cole, Steve Ragon, John Firm, Gary Waldie, John Howe, Steve McClanahan and Billy McFarland.


Alice Hudson Worlow passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Cleburne. She was born July 31, 1910 in Bosque County, TX to Elmer W. and Minnie Arnetta Powell Hudson. She married James Rowe "Jimmy" Worlow on June 16, 1929 in Bosque County, TX.

Mrs. Worlow was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church.


Alice Worlow is survived by her three daughters, Miss Jean Worlow of Cleburne, Minnie Cole and husband, Vernon of Rio Vista and Marynell Phillips and husband, Elvis of Cleburne; five sons, Harrold Lee Worlow and wife, Jean, Kenneth R. Worlow and wife, Janie, Donald L. Worlow, Charles A. Worlow and wife Joyce and Bobby Joe Worlow and wife Nancy all of Cleburne; brother, Nob Hudson of Cleburne; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Worlow, 1962; son, Ronald E. Worlow, 1941 and seven brothers and sisters.
