Allen Millsap

Service for Allen V. Millsap, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Keene Memorial Park.

Mr. Millsap passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 26, 1932 in Alvarado to Grover Cleveland and Rachel Howell Millsap. He married Jerry Glasscock on Mar. 30, 1951 in Cleburne. She preceded him in death on April 28, 1997. Mr. Millsap was the owner and operator of Allen Millsap Appliance Repair for 44 years. He served in the U.S. National Guard and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was also a life member of the N.R.A. Mr. Millsap was an honest, hard-working, businessman. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his three sons, John Millsap, James Millsap and wife Shawna and Arvie Millsap and wife Suzette; grandchildren, Jeffrey and wife Tonya, Ryan and Rachel Millsap; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Zach, Aaron, Kash, Zaidyn; great great grandchild, Ryder; and longtime friend and companion, Kathy Jackson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Merrill and Cecil Millsap.
