Allene McCright

Service for Allene McCright, 96, of Cleburne will be conducted at 4:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder.
Allene went to be with her beloved family in heaven on May 3, 2015. What a glorious reunion that will be!!
Allene McCright was born December 6, 1918 in Morris County, Texas. She attended Omaha Schools where she graduated from Omaha High School in 1935. Her family farmed in around the Concord Community. Allene was married to James Edward “Jim” McCright on Jan. 7, 1951. Jim and Allene farmed east of Snyder, in Scurry County, for over 63 years.
Jim preceded Allene in death on Sept. 6, 2009. He was just shy of turning 102 years.
Allene was granted her request by the Lord by being the last of her immediate family to be called home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Franklin and Susie Mae Baker. Allene is also preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Cluron Talley, Maurine Swint, Winfred Talley, and the twins Buel and Euel Talley. Allene is survived by her sister-in-law, Billye Talley of Cleburne and a host of nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, great great nephews and nieces, and great-great-great nephews and nieces.
