Service for Alma “Totsy” Anderson, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday prior to the service.
Alma Jean Masters Anderson passed away February 19, 2022. Alma was born December 20, 1930 in Johnson County to Walter C. and Ida M. Whitt Masters. She was the 8th of 9 children, loving known as “Totsy” by her family.
Alma was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph Dennis “Andy” Anderson and sons, Ronald and Keith.
Alma and Andy were successful business owners in Amarillo, Odessa, Palestine and Cresson, TX. They returned to Cleburne, where they grew up, following retirement.
Alma was an avid Bridge player and loved all kinds of games and puzzles. It is not a stretch to say she was competitive when playing. Her gaming spirit led her to be a frequent player at Winstar.
Alma was known to be a very good cook. Her specialties were Pecan Pies and candy. She kept her family and friends supplied with her goodies.
Prior to Andy’s death they traveled extensively in their motor home.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Alma was a member of Field Street Baptist Church where as a baby she was enrolled in the “Cradle Roll” Department.
