Services for Alvin Earl Hudson, 72, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ron Lyles and Tommy Brandon will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Friends and family are invited to attend a guest reception following the burial at First United Pentecostal Church of Cleburne, corner of Woodard and Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be.

Mr. Hudson passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Community Hospice Center in Burleson. He was born April 5, 1934 in Bono, Texas to Elmer and Minnie Powell Hudson of Rio Vista.

Mr. Hudson, along with his wife Charlotte, were independent business owners operating "Hudson Trim" for nearly 30 years and "Hudson's Guns" both located in Cleburne. Alvin was a member of Calvary Church of Fort Worth.

Alvin Earl Hudson is survived by wife Charlotte of Cleburne; son and daughter-in-law Phillip and Debbie Hudson of Denton, Texas. Mr. Hudson leaves behind a legacy of faith for his three grandchildren, Racheal and J.D. Haynes of Aubrey, Texas, and Patrick Hudson of Denton, Texas; sister-in-law and husband Sue and Robert Gray; brother, Narvell "Nob" Hudson of Whitney, Texas as well as one sister Alice Worlow of Cleburne, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews across the country. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents Elmer Hudson and Minnie Powell Hudson of Rio Vista; three brothers Tobe Hudson, Johnny Hudson and Marion Hudson all of Cleburne, and three sisters Pearl Morgan of Fort Worth, Jane Porter of Cleburne and Ella Osborne of Brazos Point.

Visitation will be for family and friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
