Amiah Renee Bonz

Memorial services for Amiah Renee Bonz, 17, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at The Heights Church (Cleburne Campus) with Pastor Stephen McCoy officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024. The family requests donations be made to the Texas Suicide Prevention Collaborative at www.texassuicideprevention.org or any teenage or young adult suicide program of the giver’s choice in honor of the life of Amiah Renee Bonz.

Amiah Renee Bonz passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Cleburne. She was born on August 4, 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas. Amiah and her family moved to Cleburne her seventh-grade year from Kennedale. She quickly made friends and was involved in student teaching (4^th grade) as well as the Pharmacy Technician program at Cleburne High School, where she was a Senior this year. Amiah worked at Pastafina as a hostess and waitress as well as most recently at Chaf-In. She was a dedicated and hard-working young lady, who was never still it seemed. She kept busy – to say the least. Amiah was passionate about the people and things that she loved. She loved to laugh and make others laugh too. She has been described as being a jokester and prankster, who was quirky and smart. She was an animal lover. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the lake and riding motorcycles with her Dad. Amiah was well known for her baking skills. Amiah had the ability to brighten any room she entered and will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy and Martha Jennings.

Survivors include her father, Brett Bonz; mother and stepfather, Teriana Bonz and Chris Parrish; grandparents, Don and Glenda Kennedy; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends, including her best friend, Kylie Elmore.
