Service for Amparo Galicia Villania, 92, of Keene, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Ibana, Mark Owens, Elmer Villania, Ramon Villania, Roland Villania, Armando Generoso, Aquilino Gamban Jr. and Robert Villania. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Amparo Galicia Villania passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, in Fort Worth. She was born Aug. 16, 1922, in Vinzons, Camarines Norte, Philippines. She married Raymundo Villania Sr. on Jan. 27, 1939, in Larap, Jose Panganiban, Philippines.
Mrs. Villania worked as a seamstress and later as a cook for Town Hall Estates for six years, retiring in 1992. She was a quiet but friendly lady with a memorable smile. She loved to sing and cook. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Reynaldo Villania and wife, Nena, Erlinda Villania, Raymundo Villania Jr. and wife, Elena, Nelia Ibana and husband, Antonio, Meriam Pasco and husband, Tom, Elmer Villania and wife, Noemi, Ramon Villania and wife, Lina, and Roland Villania and wife, Junefe; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymundo Sr.; and siblings, Norberto Galicia, Nieves Galicia Ricafrente, Anunciacion Galicia Gonzales, Marina Galicia Segador, Jesus Galicia, Guido Galicia and Dolores Galicia Lacorum.
