Visitation and gathering for Amy Jo Hendrickson Marshall, 64, of Joshua will be conducted 2-5:00 P.M., Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Amy passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Joshua, Texas. She was born September 11, 1957, in Hebron, Nebraska to James W. and Adleen Lorna Ahrens Hendrickson. She was a member of Blessed B the Bounty Fellowship Church in Cleburne, Texas. Amy worked as a Customer Service Manager for Walmart where she later retired. Amy’s intense enjoyment for local flea markets earned her the nickname “The Bag Lady.” If there was a garage sale nearby, you could count on her being in attendance. She loved spoiling her grandkids with toys and clothes. She loved crafting but never quite mastered the act of following through before she decided to jump on to a new idea. Amy thought of herself as quite the match maker when it came to her son, Shane. She took such pride in her son Chris for being a service member for our country, you could tell by her constant bragging on him.
She is survived by her children, Shane Marshall of Joshua, Texas, Gina Whitley and husband, Tyler of Crowley, Texas, Christopher Marshall and wife, Jordan of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Kaylie and Cassidy Marshall of Houston, Texas, Andrew and Conner Whitley of Crowley, Texas; sister, Cathy Sue Hendrickson Virden and husband, Steve of Florissant, Colorado; niece, Jo Ellen Day Schmale of Nebraska; great-niece and nephew, Brooke and Dylan of Nebraska; aunt, Lila Hendrickson Kempf of Nebraska; lifelong best friend, Robert Marshall of Joshua, Texas; along with numerous friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Debra Ann Hendrickson Pickrel, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
