Graveside service for Ana Elizabeth Barcenas, 35, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in the Greenacres Memorial Park. Pastor Jorge Franco will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the funeral home.
Ana Barcenas passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born October 2, 1985 in San Luis, Mexico to Mateo and Cipriana (Mendoza) Barcenas. She was married to Franciso Martinez for 5 years. She was a strong woman of Christian faith.
Ana was strong willed and had an independent streak. She was artistic and creative. There was no challenge she was afraid to take and she could make or do anything. She had a big heart, love for everyone and faced the world head on. Where there was a will, there was a way. She could do it all. She ran The La Strawberry Vaca, her business of refurbishing furniture and décor. She was grounded in her love of family, especially her children.
Survivors include her husband, Francisco Martinez; son, Mateo Valles; daughter, Julieta Martinez; parents, Mateo and Cipriana Barcenas; sisters, Karen Barcenas, Adalia Fernandez, and Alice Barcenas; 5 nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded by her brother, Mateo Barcenas.
