Ana Ortiz

Services for Ana Ortiz, 92, of Keene, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Osvaldo Rigacci will officiate. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Hernandez, Tony Ortiz, Shane Barnes, Justin Woods, Ben Woods and Ron Acosta. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Oscar Becerra, Eduardo Ortiz, Tirzo Gomez, and Alfredo Gaona. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ana Ortiz passed away Sunday, August 09, 2009 in Keene. She was born October 08, 1916 in Medellin, Columbia, South America, to Manuel and Maria Josefa Echavarria Londono. She married Luis Carlos Ortiz in 1931 in Medellin, Columbia, South America.
Ana Ortiz was a homemaker and a member of the Keene Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by three children, Ruth Ortiz Hernandez and husband, Fernando, of Keene, Yddo Ortiz and wife, Mary, of Keene and Ofel Ortiz and wife, Marina, of Florida; one sister, Alicia Vera; two brothers, Guillermo Londono and Ivan Londono, all of Medellin, Columbia, South America; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Luis Carlos Ortiz in 1984.
