Graveside services for Andrew “Abe” Wieneskie, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 14, 2020 in the Baker Lain Cemetery. Pastor Mike Acker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Wes Johnson, Brett Johnson, Gary D. Peterson, Jeff Callahan, Bllade Earley, and Gunter Earley. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
Abe Wieneskie passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born May 22, 1930, in Cleburne to Karl and Clara (Bartneski) Wieneskie. He was in residential construction. He was of the catholic faith and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
Abe was a loving, caring man who was passionate about hunting, fishing and living in the country. He was loved by all who knew him! He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and set a powerful example in his community. In fact, Abe was a long-time trustee for the Goat Neck Community Center. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his son, Will Wieneskie of Fort Worth; loving friends, Alicia Johnson and husband Steve of Cleburne; sisters-in-law, Brenda Peterson and husband Gary of Glen Rose, and Jo Ellen Wilson and husband Mike of Iredell, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Cindy Wieneskie; brother, Frank Wieneskie; and sisters, Jean Ladd and Rita Thomas.
