Angela Loeak Babauta

Services for Angela Babauta, 60, of Keene, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 31, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Pastor Cruz Balance officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Brian Babauta, Clayton Loeak, Fred Loeak, Jonethen Alik, Robby Gushikuma, Lamar Gushikuma, Victor Loeak, Troy Babauta, and Daniel Mayhorn.

Angela passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Keene. She was born January 3, 1964 in Jaluit, Marshall Islands to Elbi and Almina (John) Loeak. Angela married Eugene Babauta in 1989 in Saipan, CNMI. She worked as a Manager in an assisted living facility. Angela was a sweet and loving, wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister. She was family oriented, and hard working. Angela was a very God-fearing woman. She had many friends and was always ready to help anyone. Angela will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her children, Gina Babauta, Leilani Babauta, and Brian Babauta; siblings, Linus Loeak, Fred Loeak, Vincent Loeak, Johnnel Loeak, Roney Loeak, Catherine Gushikuma, Mary Jonaie, Linda Peter, Florina Hisaiah, Charles Loeak, Justin Loeak, and Francis John; grandchildren, Nyomi Gray, Ahleyah Mayhorn, and Daniel Liamjace Mayhorn; 38 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Irene Jikit, Grace Loeak Alik; husband, Eugene Babauta; aunt and uncle Daniel and Terina John.
