Anita Nixon

Services for Anita A. Nixon, 54, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Alvarado. The Rev. Rick Gates and Pastor Robert R. Nixon III will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kory Toney, Nate Calvin, Brandon Wright, Kyle Toney, Kenny Toney and Matt Daughtery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home, Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Anita A. Nixon passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Ft. Worth. She was born August 3, 1954 in Colorado Springs, CO. She married Robert Nixon, Jr. on October 27, 1982 in Waxahachie.

Mrs. Nixon was a homemaker and a member of Pruitt Baptist Church in Van, TX.

Anita Nixon is survived by her husband, Robert R. Nixon, Jr. of Alvarado; mother, Frances Peden of Alvarado; three sons, Eddie Cline, Jr. and wife Tara of Alvarado, Robert Roy Nixon III of Ft. Worth and Zackery Nixon and Kately Wright of Alvarado; one daughter, Kendra Riley and husband, Shaun of Rio Vista; five grandchildren, Dustin Cline, Eddie Cline III, Alisha Cline, Tanner Riley and Taylor Riley and two brothers, Kenneth Garvin of Kemp and Michael Peden of Grand Saline.
