Service for Anita Warren, 88, of Grandview will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 in the Parker Baptist Church. Pastor John Hollingsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Anita Warren passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born July 8, 1928 in Erath County to Loyce B. and Thelma A. Thorton Venable. She married Marion Otho “Mo” Warren on Aug. 31, 1946 in Palo Pinto County and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2015. At her death, she joined him eternally in heaven after 68 years of marriage.
Mrs. Warren was a homemaker and worked in manufacturing at Lockheed for more than 15 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. Anita was a member of Parker Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Ann Fisher and husband Gary of Godley, Jan Davis and husband Ronnie of Godley, and Joe Warren and wife Kelly of Archer City; grandchildren, Angie Sant, Danny Fisher and wife Denise, Melissa Cox and husband Randy, Jennifer Brown and husband David, Kurt Warren and wife Monica, Jami Wilson and husband Zeke and Katy Barnett and husband Blake; great grandchildren, Jacob Sant, Brayden Fisher, Brynn Fisher, Caden Brown, Gracie Brown, Karli Cox, Justin Sant, Kate Warren, Kasen Wilson, Karson Warren, Kaylee Wilson, Fisher Brown and Slade Barnett; sister, Bobbie Haggard and husband Jim; brother, Billy Don Venable and wife Sue; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy and Louis Venable.
