Ann Curlee

Service for Ann Curlee, 96, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 21, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Roy Gee will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Danny Allen, Marty Ray, Ricky Hodges, Daniel Blanchette, Logan Dempsey, Cody Ray and Dylan Hudson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Curlee, David Curlee, Don Curlee and Ricky Curlee.

Ann passed away January 12, 2022 in Cleburne. She was born April 24, 1925 in Hill County to Louis Talmage (Buck) and Kate Darr Applegate. Ann married Raymond Wesley Curlee on June 16, 1942 in Blum. She work at Rangeaire before being the manager at Goodwill Industries with 23 years of service. Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Blum.

Ann is survived by her son, Steve Curlee and Jennifer Susan of Cleburne; grandchildren, Charla Leeson and Russel of Caddo Mills, Marla Sharp and Shon of California and Shawna Blanchette and Ike of Cleburne; bonus grandchildren, Danny Allen, Kristi Dempsey, Phillip Lewis and Courtney McPherson; numerous great and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Shorty” Curlee; 2 brothers; 4 sisters and her beloved chihuahua, Coal.
