Ann Jones

Graveside services for Ann Jones, 101, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 02, 2009 in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Ann Jones passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009 in Bedford. She was born April 9, 1908 in Cleburne to William Albert and Zelphia Caroline Stafford McGowan. She married Lewis Preston Skinner on October 16, 1923 in Dallas County.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Ruth Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Ann Jones is survived by five grandchildren, Leland Skinner and wife Ann of Hurst, William Skinner of the Philipines, Corbye DeWeese of Ft. Worth, Melinda Walker and husband Randy, of Ft. Worth and Elizabeth Camp and husband Terry, of Mt. Vernon; ten great-grandchildren, Ashley, Maggie, Johnny, Valerie, April, Daniel, Kristin, Kasey, Heather and Harley and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Skinner and Lewis Jones; two sons, Lewis P. and Donald Skinner; grandson, Johnny Skinner and sister and brother-in-law, Lloyd and Helen Story.
