Anna Belle Jolley Pettijohn, 91, of Kingsport, Tenn. passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

Anna Belle was born in Okla. and had lived in Ft. Worth area until 2005 when she moved to Kingsport, Tenn. She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Joshua and a member of West Colonial Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn P. McKinnie and husband Al of Kingsport, Tenn.; her son, Carl Hood Pettijohn, Jr. and wife, Susan of Birmingham, Ala.; one grandson, Jamie McKinnie and wife, Whitney of Kinsport, Tenn.; several foster great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hood Pettijohn in 1984, two brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12 noon on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport, Tenn. A service will follow at 12 noon with Assistant Pastor Jake Dorak officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow at 11:30 A.M. in the Laurel Land Memorial Park in Ft. Worth.
