Services for April Clore, 51, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 28, 2023, in Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church with Pastor Johnny Wohlgemuth officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery with Chris McGlathery, Mike Brown, John Pugh, Justin Massey, Dakota Massey, and Chris Sloan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Clore, and Yancey Speir. Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 A.M., prior to the service at the church.
April passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023, in Alvarado. She was born August 14, 1972, in Fort Worth to Johnnie Dean Cordell and Shelby June Gay. April married Robert “Bobby” Allen Clore on November 14, 2015, in Johnson County. She was a member of Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church. April worked as a Clerk for Johnson County and loved her job. She had a love for shopping, animal prints and Starbuck’s. April adored every one of her grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook, and an avid Facebook user. April was a #1 Morgan Wallen country music fan. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Clore; children, Bradford Cordell and wife, Ryan, Brent Kirkman and wife, Jennifer, and Logan Hobbs; stepdaughters, Ashley Hinson and husband, Chris, and Lexi Clore; 8 grandchildren; mother, Shelby Wickersham and husband, Gary; brothers, Johnnie Cordell, and Ronnie Cordell; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
April was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Cordell.
