Arlington Mitchem

Arlington Mitchem, 78, of Cleburne passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born June 24, 1936 in Santa Rosa County, Florida to Jessie Abraham and Alice Neal Mitchem. He married Patricia Ann Skipper on June 12, 1974 in Lucedale, Mississippi.

Mr. Mitchem worked as the manager of a paper plant until retirement. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Alvarado. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Mitchem; children, Robert Mitchem and wife Teresa of Farmington, Michigan, Becky Lynch of Cleburne, and James Floyd Jr. and wife Donna of Carrollton, Georgia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Pearl Gynsch of Texas and Lester Mitchem of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
