Memorial service for Arlyss Wayne Reed, 69, of Cleburne will be conducted at 6:30 P.M., Tuesday, May, 28, 2013 in the Buena Vista Senior Community Room in Cleburne. Pastor Donnie Ray Ricks and Pastor Greg Robinson will officiate. Memorial visitation will be from 5:00-6:30 P.M., prior to memorial service.

Arlyss Wayne Reed passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born Feb. 28, 1944 in Cleburne to Paul Washington and Ruth Bell Morgan Reed. He married Peggy Ann Rodgers on Oct. 15, 1970 in Cleburne.

Mr. Reed served in the United States Army National Guard before joining the United States Navy. He worked as an operator, retiring with 34 years of service for Johns Manville. He was a member of Bono Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Peggy Reed of Cleburne; three children, Christopher Reed and wife Margie of Venus, Leigh Ann Wiggin and husband Danny of Rio Vista and Timothy Reed and wife Lisa of Royce City; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Linda Brooks and husband James of Cleburne; and a brother-in-law, Tommy Richardson of Granbury. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and sisters and two granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the givers choice in memory of Arlyss Wayne Reed.
