Audra Nicole Smith, 49, A loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and granddaughter passed from this life on Earth, to her heavenly home on December 29, 2020. Nicole was born December 20, 1971 and, on that day, became the brightest light of happiness to everyone in our family and beyond. She was our heart; she was a gift from God. Nicole was a 1990 graduate of Fort Worth Country Day school. During her time there she served as a leader in many student organizations and was frequently awarded for her success in them. During her high school years, she even spent several of her summers in a study program in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Her knowledge of this second language was a gift she carried with her until the end of her life. She then attended Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches for three years, before moving back home, where she then attended UTA. Nicole was employed by Harbison Fischer Manufacturing in Crowley, as well as Mack energy in Fort Worth. Nicole was a fun, loving, and kind soul to all of her younger siblings and cousins in which she spent her weekends and summers with. She was an entertainer that carried a love of Elton John and Marilyn Monroe. Her infectious smile, her sense of humor and the fact that she was loved by all that met her, were rare qualities she possessed and ones that will never be forgotten. Nicole lived her life her way and was always true to herself and the special woman she had come to be. Our hearts went with her and she will live in all of us forever.
Nicole is survived by her children, Erin, Josh, and Abby Smith. Her mother Pam Prather, her father Mike Prather, and was blessed with other father figures including Lonnie Holliday and Andrew Donnelly. Sisters Niccah and husband Bryan Crane, Nansa and husband Sean Cores, nieces Madison, Megan, and Marley, nephews Grayson and Asher, and her grandmother Margaret (Gurney) Laws. She is also survived by many aunts including Trisha Jones and her great aunt Barbara Muncy, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whom she loved very much.
Nicole is preceded in death by her grandmother Nancy Smith, her grandfather Eugene Smith, her uncle Michael Smith, and her biological father Tony Laws. We truly appreciate her loving caregivers from Legend Hospice, Deanna, and Abby. Our girl may be gone from our sight, but her light will continue to shine within us for always… We Love You Forever.
