Aurrellia Johnson

Service for Aurrellia Katherine Johnson, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 24, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Jerry Becker will officiate. Visitation will be 4-6 Saturday at the funeral home.

Aurrellia Katherine Johnson passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Keene. She was born August 14, 1932 in Cleburne to Marvin M. and Lottie Aurrellia (Ambler) Jones.
She married Chester Johnson January 17, 1948 in Cleburne. She was a technician for Southwestern Bell for over 12 years. Aurrellia was a longtime member of the Ruth Chapter #20 Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Worthy Matron. She enjoyed spending time quilting, crocheting and crafting.

Aurrellia is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Chester Johnson of Cleburne; children, Doris Bernier and husband Ron of Granbury, David Johnson and wife Carol of Godley, Diann Cummings and husband Brad of Floresville, Darlene Thom of Waco and Denise Moseley and husband Joe of Melissa; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Marvetta Morton of Joshua and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers and sisters.
