Austin Blackwell

Service for Austin Cooper Blackwell, 12, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Jeff Julian will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, October 10, 2022, at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Cary Roach, Royce Blackwell, Ethan Blackwell, Bobby Lewis, and Mark Julian.

Austin passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, in Fort Worth. He was born August 11, 2010, in Grapevine, Texas to Rodney and Arin (Raney) Blackwell.

Austin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Austin E. Raney, Jr., in 2009.

He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Arin Blackwell of Joshua; brother, Ethan Blackwell of Joshua; sister, Elizabeth “Izzy” Blackwell of Joshua; paternal grandparents, Rodney Blackwell of Waco, Tileana Blackwell and spouse, Bobby Lewis of San Antonio; maternal grandmother, Sherry Raney of Joshua; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
