Avril Flemons

Services for Avril Flemons, 93, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service will be 3:30 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford.

Avril Flemons passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born November 27, 1912 in Gibtown, Texas to Bela and Mandie Middleton Lyons. She was married to W.O. Flemons.

Mrs. Flemons was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Avril Flemons is survived by her children, Wilma Reynolds of Cleburne, Bonita Watkins of Mineral Wells, Jerry Watkins of Franklin,TX, George Watkins, Arlena Watkins of Perrin, TX and Ruth Lewis of Fayetteville, Arkansas and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Flemons in 1972; sisters, Cleta Billman and Baby Doll; brothers, Robert, Rondell and R.D. Lyons; grandchildren, Doris Medford, Denny Royce and Rhonda Reynolds; son-in-law, James F. Reynolds and daughter-in-law, Sandy Watkins.
