Graveside service for Ayla Laverne Keen, 32, of Milford, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 22, 2023 in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Minister John Roof will officiate. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be John Bennett, Nathan Taylor, James Tonka Keen, Damon Smith, J.T. Bennett, Austin Taylor, Kaden Taylor and Dakota Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Nobles, D.J. Smith, Harley McBride and Dave Hatfield.
Ayla passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Waxahachie. She was born October 16, 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Lennis Keen and Anna Keen. She was a member of 1st Assembly of God in Glen Rose. Ayla was known as the Queen of the Family. She loved her family, music and Jesus. Ayla loved all babies and children. She enjoyed drawing and coloring, and purple was her favorite color. Ayla was daddy’s little girl. She always gave her opinion but had a beautiful soul. She was the epitome of God’s love. Ayla will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Keen; siblings and their spouses, Jennifer Keen, Crystal Hatfield and David, Nathaniel Taylor and Summer, Timothy Jacobs and Jaini, Stephanie Bennett and John, Dustin Smith and Katie, Damon Smith and Andrea, James Keen and Samantha; grandmother, Laverne West and spouse, Don Cozine; aunts, uncles and their spouses, Mary Wells and Chris, Yvonna Derington and Terry, Melissa Whitehead and Robert Walker, Jeff Keen and Zonnie, Kenneth Keen, Larry Gladney, Katherine Davis and Braden, Dayne Grubb, Robbie Padgett and husband.
