Barbara Davis

Services for Barbara Phaye Davis, 79, of Joshua, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 in the Greenacres Mausoleum Chapel. Rev. Robert Owens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Anthony Ball, Bobby Riffenburg, Wesley Riffenburg, Bryan Vandiver, Matt Doniell and Nick McGee. Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Ball.

Barbara Phaye Davis passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 5, 1927 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Willie and Nathalie Taylor Roberts. She married James Harold Davis on October 8, 1945 in Ft. Worth.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Joshua Church of Christ.

Barbara Davis is survived by her daughters, Shirley Green and husband David of Joshua, Sandra Riffenburg and husband Eugene of Gun Barrel City, TX and Barbara Cunningham and husband Harry of Wolfe City, TX; son, James Robert Davis and wife Debbie of Burleson; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James H. Davis on 12-18-2002; son, John Wesley Davis in 1968; four brothers and three sisters.
