Barbie Jo Jordan, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home in bed April 16th, 2021.
Barbie leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. She especially loved her role as Nana to 5 beautiful grandchildren. She embraced every moment with them.
Barbie had a vivacious personality and always made friends everywhere she went. She wrote her own rules, she fought authority and she paved her own way. If you said she couldn’t do it, she would make sure she could. Barbie was known for not holding back her opinion and she had a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear.
Her extensive vocabulary was more than highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime. She liked four letter words as much as she loved her vegetable garden. Everyone always knew where they stood with her. She either liked you or she didn’t, it was black or white.
She will be sorely missed and survived by her son, Tommy Dale Jordan; 5 grandchildren, Hailey, Tommy, Cloey, Jackson, and Aubrey; her sister, Billie Valdez; and her beloved pets Roscoe and Moonpie. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Bob and Pat Jordan. All whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, and undying love for them.
A private family “Celebration of Life” will be held, in lieu of a service.
