Services for Barbara McClanahan, 67, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Don Shipman will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Lewis, Bill Smith, Jimmy Reynolds, Tom Lankford, James Adcock, Ronnie Shipman, Paul Menchaca, Tyler Arrant and Justin Arrant.
Barbara McClanahan passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 15, 1940 in Cleburne, TX to Richard and Jackie Davis Lewis. She married Marvin "Buzz" McClanahan.
Mrs. McClanahan was school teacher for Joshua School District. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Barbara McClanahan is survived by her mother, Jackie Lewis of Whitney; husband, Marvin "Buzz" McClanahan of Cleburne; sons, David McClanahan of Cleburne and Steven McClanahan and wife, Tracie of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Shawna, Elizabeth, Steven and Timothy; brother, Jack Lewis and wife, Barbara; sister, Linda Brooks and husband, Gene; brother-in-law, Morris E. McClanahan and wife, Marion and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lewis.
