Services for Barbara Gene Fugitt Owen, 65, of Morgan, TX, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Henry Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Watts Chapel Cemetery.

Barbara Gene Fugitt Owen passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 in Ft. Worth, TX. She was born September 9, 1941 in Bosque County, Texas to Walter and Minnie Faye Speer Fugitt.

Ms. Owen was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Barbara Gene Fugitt Owen is survived by her daughters, Barbara Backus and, Steve Sharke of Amarillo, TX and Tammy Worlow and Mark Winingham of Benbrook; sons, Danny Sparks and spouse, Kim of Ft. Worth and R.C. Sparks and spouse Sherry of McAlester, OK; brothers, Donald Fugitt and wife, Louise of Cleburne, Glenn Fugitt and wife, Diane of Cleburne and Jerry Fugitt of Ft. Worth; sisters, Dora Swain and Toby Fleet of Houston, Mary South and David Jones of Cleburne, Anna Faye Syrus of Cleburne and Faye and Earl Lackey of Cleburne; six grandchildren, Angie, Joe, Dustin, Lanan, Christopher and Jami; three, great-grandchildren, Keegan, Emma and Tyler; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
