Barbara Rochelle

Service for Barbara Ann Rochelle, 77, Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 11, 2023, at First Mount Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Willie Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, November 10, 2023, at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Kurtzs Holbert, Jr., Markus Holbert, Amaude Frank, Darion Scott, Zachary Pollard, and Eric Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Norman Pollard, Darryl Richards, Timothy Frank, and Barry Richards.

Barbara passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Bedford. She was born October 19, 1946, in Palo Alto, California to Booker T. and Beatrice Margaret (Brown) Pollard. Barbara married Nelson Moses Rochelle on May 19, 1979, in Cleburne. She was a member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church. Barbara worked as a Cook for 46 years in the restaurant business, also working for West End Grill in Cleburne.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Nelson of 44 years; children, Vickie Frank and husband, Timothy of Arlington, Mary Rochelle of Hurst, Marjorie Rochelle of Hurst, and Miyja Johnson and husband, Quintin of Alvarado; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathrine Carter and husband, James of El Paso, and Wanda Richards of Cleburne; brother, Norman Pollard of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; twin daughters, Diane Williams (2015) and Dianna Williams (2007); brothers, Booker Pollard, Jr., Paul Pollard, Charles Pollard, and Sammy Pollard; sisters, Rosetta Pollard, and Margie Jean Pollard.
