Service for Barbara Rogers, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Dr. Ingo Sorke will officiate. Burial to follow in Keene Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2022, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Buddy Keubler, Billy Einhellig, Paul Sandefur, Doug Meharry, Scott Schroder, and Brian Schroder.
Barbara passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in Cleburne. She was born March 12, 1941, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Jess and Stella M. (Hall) Hooper. She married James Lee Rogers on August 13, 1960, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Barbara worked as a Food Service Director for Texas Conference Seventh-day Adventist with over 40 years of service. She was a member of Country Life Seventh-day Adventist Church. Barbara’s true life‘s mission was being a mother, which she accomplished with abundant love and unending grace and in the similitude of her Savior. She loved and lived with a fierce love. She has left behind a legacy of love to her husband, her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years, James “Jim” Rogers of Cleburne; children, Carrie Keubler and husband, Buddy of Burleson, Kelly Bailey of Burleson, Rickie Crone of Burleson, Toni Einhellig and husband, Billy of Apopka, Florida; son-in-law, Paul Sandefur of Burleson; grandchildren, Doug Meharry and wife, Tatiana, Courtney Bailey, Whitney Grajeda and husband, Salvador, Taylor Einhellig, Tylor Einhellig, Riley Einhellig, Kinley Sandefur, Reagan Sandefur, Peyton Sandefur; great-grandchildren, Lucas Meharry, Alissa Meharry, Silas Anzaldua, Salvy Grajeda; siblings, Harold Hooper, Mickey Hagan and husband, Pete, Cherry Shahan and husband, Lee of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Carolyn Anderson and husband, Roger of Alta Monte, Florida, Billie Schroder and husband, Mike of Southlake, Texas; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Ballard of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jamie Sandefur, who passed away in 2008; and brother, Lloyd Hooper, who passed away in 1964, and sister-in-law, Betty Hooper.
