Barbara Wesson

Graveside service for Barbara Kay Wesson (Young) 81 of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, August 2, 2021, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne funeral home.

Barbara passed from this earth July 29, 2021, in Cleburne. She was born December 20, 1939, to Mittie and Richard Young in Cleburne. She married Garland Wesson on March 30, 1956, in Cleburne. Barbara retired from Johnson County Tax Office after many years. She was lovingly known to all as Nanny. Her family was her pride and joy!

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Pam Simms and husband Steve; son, Buck Wesson and wife Dina; grandchildren, Chase and Trish Simms, and great-grandchildren, Ryder, Addy and Myles; grandchildren, Justin and Amy Wesson, and great-grandchildren, Issac, Hoytt and Starr; grandchildren, Darland and Tom Roeber, and great-grandchildren, Kailey and Colton; grandchildren, Shemele and Cole Hodges, and great-grandchildren, Kenzie and Brynlee; grandchildren, Chance and Erin Wesson, great-grandchild, Eden; grandchildren, Tait and Jenny Wesson and great-grandchild Lanham.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garland; and son David Wayne.
