Barbara West

Service for Barbara McMillan West, 68, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Barbara McMillan West passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 16, 1947 in Ft. Worth to Alfred and Modenia Kyle McMillan. Barbara was raised by Jack and Rosie Kyle and was a 1966 graduate of Blum High school. She married Wallace William West on August 16, 1977 in Ardmore, OK and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Mrs. West was a critical care nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of Blum. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Michael Kevin Phillips of Cleburne; brother, Butch McMillan of Meridian; and cousins, Jackie Beatty, Kelly Owen, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and maternal grandparents, Jack and Rosie Kyle.
